Grum woah remix contest ( vennatics Baby drop dub)

OK OK OK it has been a while since I have posted and a lot of these links are dead so I will work On it But Here is a new one. Grum is coming to the US for the first time on nov. 1st to NY so check him out. For his arrival and new single Palms out Sunday is holding a remix contest of his track Woah. Which reminds me of a Daft Punk Discovery (esk) song. With 70s or 80's song samples and a Euero Chord and Bassline . Most remixes I have heard have the same genre feeling to them so I decided to make a Dubstep stlye track. Granted this is the first time i have ever even tried to make a dubstep song. I tried to keep some of the origional sounds and samples true to their origional form. Isn't that photo cute? That's form when I played in CHICAGO with CRYSTAL CASTLES and RADIOCLIT. One of the best kids in the business, HOLLYWOOD HOLT, came out, and I'll tell ya, it's ALWAYS good to hang out with that kid.

I thought, hey, that's a rad photo, let's post some rad new tracks. so here we are, 2 new HOLLYWOOD HOLT tracks!! One is a collaboration between HOLLYWOOD and NYC legend JUNIOR SANCHEZ. It's called 'Beat Drop' and I like it.

oh i'm super excited to get to post up the latest from ac slater. i've been a huge fan ever since he slipped me his remix of mathhead x passions' 'turn the music up'. this time he dropped some heavy-ass bass on a track by b. rich which sampled everyone's favorite lyric from last year "every day i'm hustlin'" and is his first stab at makin a dubstep track. and while he could have easily kept that bassline wobbling through the entire song, he broke it down to give your hearts a chance to catch up.

it's coming out on a new hope records with additional remixes by l7k and 2 bit thugs.

Everyone loves Dead Prez's "Bigger than Hip-Hop." Mainstream kids. Hipster kids. Hip-hop kids. Old-school kids. New-school kids. Nu-school kids. Etc. And Flufftronix (who also appears to love 'em) decided to capitalize on all that love floating around with a remix.

Not gonna lie: I thought this would suck. I mean, tampering with an epic jam such as this and tweaking until it became a dance diddy just didn't seem like a good idea. But it was.
